So, here we go with a little recap of our New York City adventures!
It all began in the Richmond airport, which we love by the way, where we paused to feed little g man some cereal before the big plane ride.

much like his dear mother, baby g is such a happy little camper! (when his belly is full)
he delighted in playing with the check luggage tag on the stroller.

our first stop in new york was the infamous Carnegie Deli. we both looked in wide-eyed shock at the pricey menu, including an additional charge of $3 for sharing... a $17 Sandwich! well bee being the picky not much of a meat eater gal, we decided to each get our own sandwiches. j was not dissapointed with this huge $10 BLT goodness and bee ordered her first ever triple layered grilled cheese sandwich.
baby g was perfectly content with greeting all the on-looking customers.

so the second day is when we had our little tragedy. i am still getting over the guilty feeling that i'm sure will rise again and again with an active boy on hand.
i had just finished nursing baby g, had "securely" placed him in the middle of the bed with surrounding pillows, bent down to pick up something, when crash and crying were heard.
yep. little man g's first time falling off a bed. i think i was more shaken up then he was. j immediately peeked his head out from taking a shower and asked if g had fallen off the bed. with a shaky voice i said yes, what should we do?

with thoughts of having to call an ambulance and being stuck in a hospital all day long ran through my head.
then some composure set in and i asked j if he would give g a priesthood blessing. i am tearing up writing this... ahh! the church is true!:) what a miracle to have a worthy husband hold something so powerful. needless to say, g man was perfectly fine after-wards. he really didn't even get any kind of goose egg and the little mark went away within a few days.
what a trooper!

once we got ready, we strolled down to Central Park,

and into a few stores, such as the large FAO Schwartz toy store. baby g slept just about the entire time

m & m store.
love the colors!

here is an unsure baby g in his hillariously cute peppermint hat with mimi!

baby g was very good at being reacquainted with all the family. he loves his mimi!
hanging out with poppa and aub-o!

baby g loved meeting uncle chad for the first time and was happy he had some fun glasses to play with.:)

baby g learning all about the big city from aunt chanelley!

baby g was immediately fought over amongst all the family.
he has such wonderful aunties!

on the streets of times square...

Rockefeller center ice skating rink.

so ever since i saw the movie Serendipity, i have dreamed about ice skating at rockefeller center. chanelle, aubrey and i waiting in line!

we had a super fun, amazing time skating away. i was surprised that i could still get around from not going since the good ol' mutual days.
did i mention we had a fun time??
totally worth the pricey $25. well...thanks Dad!!:)

One place we made it to was Dylan's Candy Bar store. Such a willy wonka candy dreamland! Here we are partaking of our Poppa's sweet tooth fashion. The gigantic sundae which included: 10 scoops of ice-cream + 10 toppings of your choosing. Enough to make anyone sugar sick. Vacations are wonderful!
don't worry, little g man also had a grand time playing with one of the cups the toppings came in.
just look at those rosey rose cheeks! mmm...good!

i love being with my sister aubrey for many reasons, including the fact that she keeps me in tune with being young, carefree and spazy!

the adorable love birds!
all the family still working on eating the sugar rush.
this was supposed to be michael jackson...oh new york!
bundled baby g with cutest ever mimi snelson!

after saying our hurried farewells to the family, we found the best little "typical new york" pizza by the slice deli. the slices were huge and delicious! then knowing that baby g would need to nurse soon, we ducked into the nearest hotel lobby we came across. warm and somewhat secluded. that is my traveling with a nursing baby tip.
