1st Birthday Party Bash!

Our fancy friends the Evans went all out for their twin girls 1st birthday party!

Dr. Seuss' Thing 1 and Thing 2 was the adorable theme! They went all out and had a snow cone maker, ball pit, freshly popped popcorn, fishing pond, water balloons, photo frame with props and plenty of delicious, perfectly themed food. What a party indeed!

Exercising!

We have all been in the get up and move mood lately! We took advantage of the lovely weather and joined Chrissy and the twins for a walk around Wellesley Lake.

We were quite excited to spot some turtles swimming in the water.

This picture does not do justice for super Chrissy, who is running while pushing twins in a stroller and with G buddy hanging on her back.

We made the loop and came back nice and sweaty hot!

We were able to have the Evans Twins over to hang out and it was so much fun to see G man so eager to take care of everyone. When we started having our dinner, our two extra friends were more than excited to join in!:)

although they are quite capable of feeding themselves, G was not intimidated by the duty of feeding two at once- picnic style in the kitchen, of course:)

looks like big brother g is training well to help with the 11 children he has announced that we will be having! :)

Picnic party

A few weeks ago I scored a lovely picnic basket at a yard sale for 25 cents!! and G has been just as excited as me to be able to use it! We thought welcoming home Dad from being gone 2 days for work was our perfect reason!

Father's Day 2014

We had a lovely Father's Day!

 (well, perhaps we should be getting the perspective from the father...but i'm pretty sure he would agree!:)

J woke up to some breakfast cooking on the griddle, presents ready to be opened and two excited kiddos to help him!

We made it to church a few minutes early to drop off some balloons for the Father's Day treats (YW were in charge again- milk and cookie bar!!) and Stephanie W. zoomed us outside and took our picture.

We somehow ended up with all the balloons again so I made everyone pose for more pictures

Then it was dinner time in some lovely weather,

 

 where J's dinner dreams came true! T-bone steak, rolls, yummy potatoes and broccoli! 

 

We sure love our silly, fun Dad!

Hadads lake adventure

Inspired from a valpak flyer, we rallied some friends to check out Hadads Park to celebrate Jana's birthday! Yep! The name is a pretty good indicator as to how ghetto-licious this all- inclusive water park was!

G was much too busy being a fish in the water and making new friends to stop for a family picture.

after spending 5+ hours in the sun, we quarantined g to some digging in the shade

wrapping up to head home, g finally stopped for some dinner

and little lady was all about handling the hotdog on her own

  we played, played, played hard all day long and had a very quiet ride home with two sleeping babes in the back

after getting home and putting the very worn out kids straight to bed, I went back out to make a delivery. J had a few specific requests (pizza and root beer floats) while i managed to find me some goods too (pasta and fudge stripe cookies).
