Disney On Ice!

To kick off a new school year, we splurged and took Ellory and Grant to Disney on Ice. Ellory was quite the little lady holding up her Rapunzel dress and Bee was the only known grown-up to dress up.:)

We had awesome seats and the kids were absolutely captivated!

We packed plenty of snacks and special treats
g man showing his swedish fish/skittles dyed tongue
we all had a lot of fun and were worn out by the car ride home.

School!

Our little G man started school today! What a super trooper he is!:)
Upon waking him up, until walking him out the door he continually declared that we woke him up at the wrong time and it was too early! 6:30am did roll around quick, but he was in good spirits at the bus stop and picking him up after his first day, he walked off the bus like a champ stating, wow, that was a good nap! :) Hooray for naptime at kindergarten!

Rockwell

well, rockwell turned 1 year old and had his check-up appointment where he jumped the gun and measured all the way in the 47th percentile (the biggest hoffmann babe yet)
how ironic that the only picture i took during the appointment was of katherine patiently helping ellory pick out a sticker. oh well. sorry rockwell :)

some of his highlights include:
still eating everything that is put in front of him
(anytime we are sitting down to eat and the kids don't like what they have or don't eat it all, they say- that's ok. rockwell will eat it!)
waving hello and good-bye
clapping
he loves music and always dances and laughs when he hears some
walking along everything
speed crawler, both on all fours and with knees off floor
quick to laugh
very patient when waiting his turn
a super climber
easily self-entertained
exploring everything
loves being outside. whenever he hears someone coming or going, he races to the door to try and get out.
comes when calls
says, dad, mom, all done, and lots of  babbling
beginning to point at things
laughs at the sound of objects colliding
easily upset at loud noises (blender, mom and dad slip n sliding, etc)
beginning to throw tantrums by flinging himself backward
puts everything in his drooly mouth, but will spit it out when asked
overall, a pleasant, happy, fun  boy!
