Baby sister

Another Hoffmann baby miracle! After confirming with the Dr. that Bee was in fact pregnant again and was already 16 weeks along with a baby girl, we revealed the news to the happy older siblings. Joshua stuffed our suitcase with 3 pink balloons with an ultrasound attached to each one. Then he placed it  in front of them, saying "there is a surprise inside, but it's a clue to what the actual surprise is that will be coming later." 

Once the suitcase was opened and the balloons flew up, Grant caught one of the ultrasound pictures and asked, "um. we are having a baby?"

"yeah! You guessed it!"

" we are???"

"yeah!"

 "this family??" while pointing to himself in amazement.

then after pondering it some more, he asked "um, where's the baby?!"

i love his brilliant, logical mind! :)

Library and chuck e cheese

i took the grant and ellory to the new libbie mill library while dad and rockwell were home resting. 

i love seeing a love of books in my kiddos!

later that day, we spent the afternoon being entertained by blinking lights and squealing kids at Chuck E. Cheese. we discovered that they have reward calendars, that when filled out can be turned in for 10 coins. hooray for accomplishing homework, getting ready for bed and helping out all in one day, because we were able to go and enjoy some fun for free. :)

Rockwell has mastered the conveyor belt activity at the childrens museum and loves watching the ball spill into the buckets.

Duck donuts for dinner

When Camille and Garrett invited us to enjoy some fresh Duck Donuts, we loaded up and hopped in the car for a special night time treat!

Conference fun and emergency prep

Conference weekend was beautiful weather and we were outside any chance we could get.

The tradition of treat jars continued this year!

We also took the time to sort through our emergency prep packs and joshua tried some 20 year old energy bar...and then quickly spit it out.
