"I want to go camping and look at the shooting stars someday."- G man while lying in his bed after naps

"Hey, what's going on here??"- G while trying to get his inside out sleepers on

"Mom, want to see me get baptized?"- G man on his way to get ready for bed. Then he proceeds to put his arm up and dunks himself. when asked who was going to baptize him, he says matter of fact, "John!" 

Big helper to big brother!

G man has become quite the little helper! If he sees me doing something, ie the laundry, cleaning, sweeping, cooking, etc. he says "I'm going to be your helper!"

Love it! Makes the task at hand take at least double the time and effort, but how can you turn down an eager buddy?

Anyway, at my recent check ups for little miss, Dr. Tyson has asked him if he wants to help and he always does. Listening to my heart beat and measuring my growing belly are now part of his skills.

And here is the big brother giving "baby sis" a little elephant toy that he chose himself. He is already a great big brother!

Our Little Miracle

We checked in at 6:00 am so the Dr. could induce Bee by breaking her water. They were concerned about the baby's abdomen size.

Bee was in pretty good spirits during the labor process :)

She was even dancing in her new gown! :)

And then it got serious...contractions grew more intense and more steady and around 12:30 or so, she began to push. She pushed 3 or 4 times and our little miracle was out! Born at 12:54pm

We were able to hold her right away! 

Then the nurses did their thing (take measurements, confirm code on bracelet, footprints, etc.)

It can all be very tiring for someone who has only been alive an hour or so.
