McDonald's lunch and ponies

Feeling spontaneous, we surprised Grant at his school to pick him and take him out to lunch with us!
McDonalds was the winning vote!
and after school, Grant was a good sport and played ponies with Ellory. Love them!

Mud playing

Tornado warnings in effect for our area, but the sunshine and promises of lots of puddle jumping, took us outside to brave the weather. The kids suited up in their swim gear and jumped right in to the mud baths galore.

Rockwell is all boy, but he has his limits when it comes to his hands getting dirty.

Mud puddle dancing

and then Rockwell decided to show us all his brute strength by moving the stray bricks around.

Ellory first dental check up

We practiced and prepped ahead of time,  but a book in hand was all she needed to be a true champ.

We love the dentist and easy check-up appointments!

Your curiosity, courage and creativity continues to surprise me. Thanks for keeping life exciting with new adventures to attend to. I hope you learned that q-tips do not belong down drains, ever.

Nothing better

"Mom, there is nothing better than cuddling up with warm clothes from the dryer on a cold day. " - Relaxed, happy Grant

Valentine's Day 2016

Homemade gifts make the best ones.

We had a great valentine's day popping balloons filled with things people love about the kids, eating a festive breakfast, receiving fun goodie bags (including a new animal friend for each child), and spending the day focusing on love.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Grants class Valentine party

Oh how I love this goofy, happy little man. Today Ellory and I went to his classroom to help dish out vanilla ice cream for ice cream sundaes! Then we watched the children claim their valentine bag full of goodies from everyone. To be 5 years old again...:)

Trouble- Part 1

Dear Rockwell,
You have mastered how to climb, reach, obtain anything you set your heart on. Thanks for not being a quitter, but know that when it involves a large glass, breakable object, it's ok to ask for help. :)
Love, your worn out mom

PS the side ways tongue sticking out works every time for not getting in trouble.
