6 months old

 I can not believe this adorable, squishy lady has turned 6 months old! She continues to be a happy, easy going girl. :)

Some of her latest highlights include: 

Starting to eat solids like 

 a champ!

and anything else she can get her grabby, curious hands on

  

 Laughing and babbling more

Sleeping 8-9 hours, waking once to eat 

Still calm, easy going and lights up whenever she hears or sees grant 

Being protected and watched by super grant!

Starting to dance to music and when gets super excited

Story time

G man's imagination continues to increase and grow into some pretty amazing make believe stories. 

They usually involve some kind of super hero, sea creature, or other wild animal, have plenty of sound effects and always include him acting out a portion and ending with an energetic THE END!

His most captive audience...

oh and he loves conquering his goal of making the listener laugh!

 

and if he needs to take a break to gain some more inspiration, he'll sit back and read a story.

Cooking creations

Our little G buddy has discovered a new found love for exploring in the kitchen and creating some spicy concoctions. Here he is "finding his recipes", as he plainly explained, and trying out an assortment of funny faces for the camera.

Such a little ham!!:)

 

 His first attempt at baking me a lovely cake! The ingredients?

A box of baking soda, container of orange sprinkles, a dash of baking powder, few shakes of lemon pepper,
a handful of chili powder, a pile of nutmeg, and a container of cream of tartar.

After asking  repeatedly if he could make another cake, I finally settled for helping him bake a chocolate cake in a mug. perfect solution for the silly boy!

Mommy g date night

My little g buddy has not been feeling 100% lately...

 

 so to cheer up my little man, we left baby sis with dad and had a lovely mommy day! 

to begin: we did some digging at the childrens museum

 

 made some good wishes for a penny 

at short pump fountains

 

picked out an adorable dress for baby sis, then rode up and down the "alligators" just because

 then threw on our funny glasses to buy some sore throat lollipops 

 

love my little man! thanks for a fun day g!
