Mimi and papa
We LOVE when Mimi and Papa come to visit and the automatic adventures and memories that accompany their stay.
Ellory helping herself to her first pop tarts. After all that work to get them open, she took one bite and was done.
Chocolate chip cookies with Papa!
Fall festival up the street from our house where Papa enjoyed throwing popcorn at Rockwell for him to eat. :)
Face painting
First taste of cotton candy and Mimi was convinced that he would enjoy it- He did not:(
storytime with Mimi and the new book she gave the kiddos.
Annual turkey dinner at the Whytes house where Grant was surrounded by the little girls (Leah & Kensley) while playing the piano
Attending the LL Bean grand opening festivities in the rain
Ducking inside for some shelter and playtime while J and Bee ran to Cheesecake Factory for some dessert to go.
We love Mimi and Papa- come back soon! :)

Getaway time
While Mimi and Papa were out visiting for Halloween, they graciously offered to stay with our kiddos while we took a getaway. We jumped at the chance and headed up to Palmyra, Sacred Grove, Hill Cumorah and Canada to see Niagara Falls. Hooray for wonderful babysitters!
The Sacred Grove. Joshua's first time being there!
The front door of our cozy guesthouse in Canada.
We received a special Canadian only request from our friend (Shelece Nance) to bring her back some vinegar and salt potato chips. We went to 5 different stores and finally landed some at a random convenience store we had received a tip about.
Our Wonder Passes for Niagra Falls came with a free butterfly garden tour, so we loaded up in our rental car and drove the beautiful 20 min drive- worth it! Amongst the wonder of these flying creatures humming around us, my favorite part was the case of chrysalis and watching the butterflies emerge from their cozy homes. Nature is amazing!
It's a beautiful blessing to come home to this sight! :)
