This was G's first Christmas and first time meeting Santa (I think we wanted him to meet Santa just to see what he would do). Not to our surprise, he did not cry. He was fascinated with his beard and didn't hesitate to bust out the smiles (and tongue) once he realized someone else was in the room - taking pictures.

In Richmond, VA (and possibly in your neck of the woods too) they have Christmas light fanatics who go all out (National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation style) when it comes to decorating their house with lights and....stuff for the holidays. There are so many of these homes, there is actually a website and tour service used to map and visit them.
It's called the Tacky Light Tour: http://www.tackylighttour.com/christmas_lights/tourbystate.aspx?state=Virginia
This one house on the tour that is close to our neighborhood. No one else on the street puts up any Christmas lights. They actually live next to some friends of ours and they told us the family spends about $500 a month on electricity during the holidays!

It's presents time!

On Christmas morning, we all had fun opening all of our wonderful presents, playing with the ornaments, trying on our new hats, and eating the wrapping paper :)
