Ghouls just wanna' have fun!

I'm usually not one for decorating for Halloween, simply because I have been turned off a long time ago to the skulls, scary witches and gruesome body parts lying around. So, I don't know what has gotten into me this year, but I have been having way too much fun decorating for Halloween. Perhaps it's the new mom in me, trying to live up to my duties:) or the fact that I am decorating my house, and not someone's rental? I don't know...but here's a look at some of the results:)

a resting place for all of the nice witches who will be landing our way...

i found these ikea mirrors that were not in use, cut up a dollar store napkin and voila!

a one of a kind Halloween poem masterpiece from the one and only J-Mann! (thanks babe!)

dollar store christmas bird ornaments spray painted black + birdhouses i bought with intention to make baby g a mobile

i love the way orange and black are such a good looking team together.

dollar store signs + a little paint:

so, not the best picture of my bat wall, but the strands are made from extra paper blinds that i have been saving for a project.

and some tasty treats for the sugar lovers out there, as well as the salty lovers...

quick! before they are gone!

Happy Halloween!!

It's totally different to decorate your own HOME than a rental. Turned out SO cute -- send some of those creative juices my way!

you are too creative...I love it!!! ahh...now I'm wishing again that we lived closer. We totally missed out on being stay at home moms at the same time.

Such a creative little bean! :) The "Boo" is my favorite! I haven't been nearly as motivated as you-maybe since I'm in a rental still...sigh...but a good idea I did have was to gather twigs from outside and I put them in a glass milk jar I had lying around from the grocery store--I think it looks good anyway. Very spooky. Mwahahaha

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love decorating, but this seriously tops the cake! Nice job! I only made a candy corn wreath for my sister this year and bought the material for another project that I never finished. So...good for you!!!!
