Cre8 and re-cre8

i have re-discovered a great passion of mine. there is something so very exhilarating, simple, awakening, pure and overall happiness once i have created something.

anything. here are a few examples:

take for instance this mess of shoes that was the result of finding a very large (according to my frightened eyes) jumping cricket in my shoe basket.

once the fight had been won (25 points awarded to bee), my heart-rate checked and the measly creature disposed of...i stepped back to discover and laugh at imagining watching myself prance around like a sissy trying to smash a set of jumping legs, using a new shoe with each miss.

i love creating a memory :)

anyone who knows my cooking style, knows that in order for me to feel a sense of deep and utter satisfaction in my accomplishment, i have to
a- not follow a recipe and/or
b- change/add something to a recipe.

hence, this lovely little caramel, apple, vanilla wafer crisp!

i love re-creating warm, sweet deliciousness!

i was able to host a bridal shower for a dear friend of mine.
i realized that i had been to many baby showers, but not bridal showers for years and was hesitant on what to do and how it would turn out.
but amongst all my creations:

advice/sign in book

little ms. red velvet cuppycakes

chocolate chip oreo cookies

thank you party favors

i love creating a smile!

this is my attempt at creating a different, fancier dinner.
spinach stuffed chicken breasts with orange infused asparagus...

i love when my creations actually turn out to be delicious!
yum yum!

recently i was in charge of a combined ym/yw mutual activity, which was already decided to be a talent show.
well, what do you do when not one person signs up!?
impromptu lip-sync!!
not the best picture, but i am the one with the hunters rat hat,
pink silk gloves and all the right moves!:)

i love creating laughter!

while i love the simplicity and cleanliness of white on white, i felt my shower curtain needed a little something more.

so this is what i came up with...

i love creating friends for lonely shower curtains!

and lastly, this is what happens when you leave your child for literally 5 seconds. good thing i randomly decided to buckle him in this time.

i love creating curiosity.

what will you create today?
