Date Night Drama

So, for our most recent date night, we decided to do something a little different..but simple. We drove out to a lovely (aka ritzy) area and tracked down a Little Ceazar's Pizza. Then we strolled on into a public park, found a bench and enjoyed the evening together.

Sounds simple enough. So some of you are probably wondering, where's the "drama?" Well, the part of this that J is a little hesitant to admit is the activity that followed the dinner....

So, we've been reading these books together; it's a great way to have something to share and enjoy together. When we first moved to Virginia (our first retirement) we read the Chronicles of Narnia together and really enjoyed it, but J needed a little convincing to join Bee in reading this latest (and oddly popular) series...

That's right, we've been reading the Twilight series together. We finished the second book last night and we're moving on to the third! So, there's the drama.

What a great life !

Great books, a little weird sometimes but I love them all. The date night sounds like fun, pizza at a park is the way to do it!

Me and the hubby love reading together, too! Isn't it the greatest? I'm impressed that J was willing to read the Twilight series--I had to read them on my own... :)
If you like history, Seabiscuit is an awesome one to read aloud to each other. It was our first book we read together and we loved it.
