We were having one of those mornings where the kids all seemed to be extra cranky and me extra impatient- not a good combination...so we were outside in hopes the fresh air would help soothe us all when grant spotted this little turtle emerging from our vines in the backyard. What a heavenly distraction!
We were excited to watch him walk from the back to front yard, cross the
street and wander into our neighbors tree clump, when i would pick him up and put him back in our yard to watch him wander over again.
When we came in for lunch and naps, I found myself thinking about that little turtle and feeling completely over come with a feeling of God's love for me, for us. Such a simple little reminder but so powerful. While I was kneeling in prayer to thank heavenly father, grant came to ask me something and we were able to have a lovely discussion of god's awareness and love for us:)
