Happy 4th Birthday G man!

 Happy birthday to our little G buddy! 

 We started the festivities a few days early, with a super surprise trampoline delivery! While I made certain to keep you contained inside, dad and 2 friends moved a trampoline(thank you andersons!), set it up, bought balloons, and tied them all around the trampoline. Then we placed you blindfolded on the back deck for the grand reveal! You were so excited!! Ahh! Hopefully the sunny days ahead will be filled with you jumping out all that energy and wiggles! 

 

You woke up to a balloon wall to run through!

 Then we made your requested 4 layer funfetti cake!

 

  We had planned to keep our celebrations just with the family this year, but after you asked if we could invite some friends over to share the cake with, how could I say no to that?? And our wonderful friends were such great sports to come celebrate given only 2 hours notice! You are loved!:)

Then we met dad at the downtown childrens museum, where you rode the carousel for first time! They even let Ellory and her cuteness ride for free!:)

Then a quick dinner and home for presents, presents and more presents from such generous family and friends! Spoiled little boy!

  Aunt Chanelley sent you sea monkeys! Perfect solution for your latest request to get a pet.

 James & Marianne sent you some swimsuits and a favorite ant picnic shirt!

  I finished a stool for you! (thanks gloria for help with vinyl decal!)

Things to remember:

You love waving to all passing cars and people

You are still very good at helping out

You love to play and make ellory laugh 

You change into multiple animals (possums, sharks, whales, monkeys, chameleon, Etc) and super heroes throughout the day 

Your imagination is increasing everyday and you love creating new types of animals (slitheroo, neha, etc) wild stories and new games

You love celebrating someone's "birthday" just about everyday, which often results in one of your cake creations! (a lovely mixture of spices in a bowl)

Your new job is to unload the dishes... We are still trying to figure out the best way to motivate you to accomplish this without getting distracted or whining :)

You can write all your letters 

You love creating drawing masterpieces and do that more often than in a coloring book

Your naps are getting more sporadic, but still have quiet time 

You love books and can memorize them after reading a few times 

You are VERY inquisitive and ask why all day long... Many times, I finally say I don't know, you have a hard time dropping the question
You have entered the phase of Look at me! Watch this! See! (We hear this all day long as well:)
