enjoy it while you can- they grow up so fast!
these are the words we are continually hearing from others with grown children and day by day we are seeing them come to pass. i can hardly believe our baby g has passed the 9 month mark! soon we will have to call him little man g. :)

what baby g is up to:* scooting all over the place, with an occasional rocking on all fours
* waving
* babbling all day long:
dada
mama
gaga
th
gong gong
nana
* loves playing peek a boo
*loves singing & dancing with mama
* loves reading and inspecting books
*loves interacting with other children
* still toothless
* still adorable
* still friendly & flirty! (watch out us) :)
* still giggly
*still loved!
and
* eating more and more! thus far he has tried:
sweet potatoes
carrots
green peas
peaches
green beans
apples
blueberries
pumpkin
pears
mangoes
chicken
red potatoes
garlic
cottage cheese
crackers
bananas
avocados
orange popsicle
grape jelly...

oh and the occasional whipped cream treat! i think i am driving the protective parent, aka mr. j-mann, crazy with wanting to give g everything! with that said, i do have some parenting self control, so no worries!:)

i love to watch little ones feed themselves. this is g's first time eating finger foods and we got a kick of watching his little pointer finger and thumb carefully sneak up on the puffed rice snack and then trying to skillfully aim it into his mouth. he did really well- considering and often would go at it with his entire fist full. so cute!
are we first time parents or what?!
is everything this exciting the second time around??

It's still exciting the second time around, you just don't have nearly the time to take it all in like you do with the first. You are running in so many directions! So my advice -- savor every moment you can. Two is fun though. And 3? I wouldn't know and I'm a bit afraid to find out... :)
Your little guy really is so adorable! He's so lucky to have such great parents.
... And last of all, how about a shout out for MONDAY night and The Bachelor! I owe Josh a big Thank you because Chris felt much better about watching it himself after finding out that Josh watches too! (Chris is a first timer this season and has been swindled into it by his lovely wife :). Thanks Josh! You guys are fantastic!
It's official, I can't even stand it anymore!!! I'm so excited and yes I will wish your first borns last few months of being under 1, to pass by as fast as they can! I need to be there right now!

He is sooo cute!!!! Can't believe he is still toothless. Ava already cut her first tooth. :)
You need to get together with Gary's Dad and sis - they fed Ava whip cream at Thanksgiving (when she was 2 months) while I wasn't watching. I can feel for Josh! :)
Oh my gosh Little baby G is so cute! He is such a good combo of you guys! The teeth will come in-eventually. Ava is just getting her 2 top teeth-she got her 2 bottoms at like 10 or 11 months I think. Oh how the time flies! I can't believe you give your child whipped cream! haha jk
Sounds like all three of you are having a blast as he discovers all these new abilities -- I love it! It's totally exciting the second time around because it's so exciting for them. I let my kids try everything, too, and it totally stressed Brian out. I think it helps them be open to more foods. You guys are adorable!
