Basket Case

We knew this day was coming our way. And after 3.2 years of being with our rascal youth, we were "released". Bee says she is a rainbow of various emotions. And J says he will miss having excuses to get down and dirty with the boys.

Looking back it's amazing to see how we have changed and been able to loosen up and have fun!

Often times we found ourselves talking about "the kids" and what we could do help them during this awkward, yet important stage of their lives.

We will miss the breakfast table meetings Mano y Mano, President to President. We will miss being able to hang out with our youth twice a week and wish them the best as they move forward and grow into Men and Women of God!

Here's to 199+ days spent with our youth at weekly Mutual activities, Scout Camps, Girls Camps, Stake Dances/Activities, Fundraisers, Helamans Challenges, PJ Sleepovers, Firesides, and the days they would simply drop in to say hello. Made our day! :)

Oh man...what will they do without you?!?!?! Do you have new callings? Or do you actually get to attend a class for once?

I can't imagine all the emotions!! The cool part is now you can be there without "being there". I am still friends with my best young womens leaders.

So what is the next adventure for J and Bee? A trip to Minnesota;)?

Wow, I didn't realize it had been quite that long. You guys were amazing at those callings. I'm sure they are going to miss having you. Your pictures brought back good memories. Do I know the new presidents? What are you going to do with all your free time?? Until you get a new calling, of course. :)

This post made me a little sad! I am going to miss serving with you Brooke, and to see and hear about what the girls are going through. You guys did such a great job in your callings!

YW to RS is hard to wrap your head around! That's where I went after YW last year. It seems the "old" women are harder to please and less easily amused than the "young" women! Good luck!

It's hard to leave working with the youth! You'll be sorely missed, I am sure! COngrats on your new callings though! JOsh, Chris ran into your brother last week and told him that you're in the bishopric - that is awesome. You'll be great! You both will! Your Italy adventure looks so fun by the way!
