Are we (and the aisles in Wal-mart) the only ones thinking of Thanksgiving already?
We realize that we just passed the half way mark in October, but Halloween just doesn't have that exciting edge like it used to. With the hopes of a short get-away attached to Turkey Day........ahh! sigh.
We can't stop thinking of it.......
So, amidst the hub-bub of financial disaster, destruction, and fall out on Wall Street, Main Street and Sesame Street let us be grateful today and not post-pone our expression of gratitude until the potatoes are mashed and the dark meat is calling J's name in sweet turkish lullabies.
We are grateful for:
laughter
blogs
water
colors
food
toilet paper
sight
books
creativity
words
trees
singing birds
the sun
imagination
kindness
parents
love
innocence of little ones
chocolate milk
you!
and the list goes on and on...
Let us all find joy in our journey and appreciate more the many things we take for granted.

I have been feeling that way too! I am so excited for Thanksgiving this year, don't really know why but Halloween is just another time of year I have to raid Preston's candy and ration it to BOTH of us.
Great list! We have a lot to be grateful for. I am excited for Thanksgiving. Are you guys coming to Utah???
Adding to your gratitude list are your fantastic music choices! I am currently cleaning and was in no mood for the radio, and my CD collection is far less than extensive and then I thought...self, you've always liked the Hoffmanns music, why not turn up their blog? What a great idea! Thanks for keeping your music fun, current and hip! You guys have come through once again. Way to be!!! Have one great, and creative weekend!
Great list!
Amen on the water and the toilet paper. I think I take them for granted way too often... :)
Way to be thankful! I have always loved how how optimistic you are Brooke.
Can I please tell you about Sesame Street? I mean, I know it was thrown in there as a joke, but seriously, I was wearing my Sesame Street shirt the other day, and someone told me 1) they're making cookie monster into vegetable monster and 2) making Big Bird wear pants. It's amazing what the world has come to these says. Such a shame...
